About Us

Virginia was born on the East Coast and later moved to Spokane, Washington, where she began her photography career and graduated high school. After high school, Virginia moved to Big Sky Country. She fell in love with the landscape, but more importantly, the people. Virginia is a happy-go-lucky and energetic woman with a passion and natural ability in the photography world. Her four children easily overflow copious amounts of photo albums with all their achievements and individual silliness and personalities. Virginia not only managed a local portrait studio for 16 years but, she was the primary photographer as well. After dedicating so many years to managing a studio for a corporation, Virginia came to the point where she wanted to offer more to her clients than the basic sit, point, and shoot routine that chain studios have become known for. She specializes in individual and family portraits but also loves the thrill and rewards of "Freezing the Moment" at weddings, receptions, and other special events. When asked what made her choose photography as her career of choice she responded, "The capability of capturing one second in time forever. My favorite thing about photography is the giggles and smiles and helping people capture these special moments forever!" She referred to shooting scenic shots as relaxing, but impersonal. "The fun in photography is interacting with the subject, coaxing a baby's smile or joking and laughing with everyone in order to catch that special glimmer hidden in everyone!" With her quick wit and charm, Virginia does just that! She can entice the most breath-taking beams of emotion out of the smallest of children, and capture the essence of any adult in a moment! With her natural ability to pay attention to detail and her knack behind the camera, she will undoubtedly leave all who seek to engage her talents with smiles on their faces and plans to return!
